Initially, a traditional tilt Desander was on the well for high sand concentrations. As the sand concentration lowered the client wanted to compare the performance of the Specialized Desander SynPOL to the competition.
We partnered with a flow back company in the USA that was trialing different equipment technology on their flow back. When the sand came down to a more manageable level, we replaced the Desander with a SynPOL that managed to continue to catch the sand and no sand was found downstream.
The well had production rates of 5 MMCFPD (140 E3M3/Day) of gas and 4000 BBL/Day (635 m3/Day) of fluid.
